Detinned Bundles
Detinned bundles are made after detinning of tinplate scrap. Scrap generated by canmakers and other users of tinplate is collected and the tin content is separated from the steel by chemical and electrolytic processes. After the tin is removed the detinned steel is baled into variable size bundles depending upon the customer needs and can be used as a substitute for No. 1 bundles.
